With focus on providing compassionate and comprehensive care, Dr. Vasquez is nationally and internationally recognized for his expertise, teaching and research in treatment of venous insufficiency.
He was the first in Western New York to perform endovenous radiofrequency saphenous ablation (VNUS Closure procedure). He received the Business First Health Care Heroes Award for “Innovation in Health Care” in April 2004 for this advance. To date he has performed nearly 3000 of these procedures.

He has delivered sixteen major presentations throughout the world on his work. He has been interviewed multiple times by the local television and written media.
